ITF HQ Korea Rank Certificate Application

General requirements for applicants:

  • Must be a registered member of ITF HQ Korea or must apply and be accepted for membership prior to obtaining rank (possess an individual or group membership)
  • Must have fulfilled all eligibility criteria for testing including time requirements, course completion (if required) and organizational permission (if necessary).
  • Must submit online degree application and provide all necessary additional documents if required.

There are three categories of members requirement as outlined below in the table. Each category is different due to the background of the practitioner

 ITF HQ Korea (Original) Members Experienced ITF Members Non ITF, Martial Artists

 
·         Must be ITF HQ Korea member from the beginning of Taekwon-Do journey

·         Previous training information not required

·         Submission of Degree recognition form not required

·         Additional recognition of the rank is not required

 

·         Must fulfill the necessary testing time requirements

 

·         Eligible for time reduction between tests as per rules and regulations

 

 

·         Personal history of martial arts career not Mentor assistance not required

·         Instructor/Examiner Privileges associated with rank immediately conferred

 ·         Must be a member of ITF HQ Korea for a minimum of 12 months period

·         Previous training information required

·         Submission of Degree recognition form required

 

·         initial recognition of the rank is required

 

·         After initial recognition must fulfill the necessary time requirements

·         Eligible for time reduction between tests as per rules and regulations

·

·         Personal history of martial arts career required Mentor assistance may be required

·         Instructor/Examiner Privileges associated with rank conferred after initial recognition of rank

 ·         Must be a member of ITF HQ Korea for a minimum of 12 months period

·         Previous training information required

·         Submission of Degree recognition form required

 

·         ITF Rank level will be assigned according to rules and regulations

·         After initial rank assigned  must fulfill the necessary time requirements

·         Eligible for time reduction between tests as per rules and regulations

·         Personal history of martial arts career required

·         Mentor assistance will be required

·         Instructor/Examiner Privileges associated with rank conferred after completion of mentorship program
